people's digital lives. Xeon Engineering Group is looking for a
micro-architect with prior SoC or IP pre-silicon integration and/or
validation experience to join our organization. Together we will
deliver the next generation server
products.
Job responsibilities include
but are not limited
to:
Drive definition, design, verification, and documentation for server SoC (System on a Chip) development.
Influence development of HW algorithms and structures for improving IP-SoC interfaces.
Code and evaluate new algorithms in the RTL simulation environment using SystemVerilog/UVM.
Bridge between architecture, integration and validation teams on spec and implementation.
Ensure end-to-end flows are implemented and validated correctly per SOC needs.
Analyze performance bottlenecks in the SoC design.
Help debug issues, identify fixes and/or workarounds.
In
addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate
will also
have:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exemplary problem-solving skill at a team level.
Comfortable working and collaborating with multiple teams across multiple sites.
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and have 8+ years of work experience.
OR
Masters Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and have 6+ years of work experience.
OR
Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and have 4+ years of work experience.
Qualifying work experience must be in/with:
Digital design or Computer architecture, or Design verification.
System Verilog OVM/UVM, or Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
SoC Design on RTL coding, integration or validation.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Pre-silicon RTL verification/validation experience on server CPU product.
Experience in global flows such as CPU reset/boot, clocks, fuses, and RAS.
Scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of
industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or
schoolwork/classes/research.
Xeon and Networking Engineering (XNE) focuses on the development and integration of XEON and Networking SOC's and critical IP's sustain Intels Xeon and 5G networking roadmap.

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$148,930.00-$238,410.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
