networks and data centers that deliver content on demand to

we're looking for passionate and talented engineers who are ready
to make significant impacts to the world of server development. As
a Server System Integration Engineer you will join a team
delivering world class server products to thousands of customers
across the globe. Your job will be to deliver server products
integrated into racks, ready for customer deployment in data
centers. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Defining and capturing system configurations and
requirements.
Responsibilities
Validate
system configurations
Ensure that customer requirements
are met
Perform system-level design
reviews
Power-on testing and functional
verification
Managing system defects and driving issues to
closure
Partnering with others in achieving development
milestones
Work with Rack Integration Engrs to deliver
rack solutions
Drive process improvement
Provide
progress
updates
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a positive
factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed may be
obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience,
internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Electrical or Computer Engineering or related
field.
3 + years in the following:
- working with server subsystems and hardware components - RAID, network, memory, motherboard, BIOS, FW, etc.
- working in design, debug or test of server subsystems or components
- working with diagnostics, system utilities and industry benchmarks
- leading efforts in defect management, driving issues to closure, engineering rigor, and global team engagement
- Experience writing system assembly/integration instructions.
Preferred
qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
6+ years in the following:
- hands-on experience working with server subsystems and hardware components - RAID, network, memory, motherboard, BIOS, FW, etc.
- hands-on experience working in design, debug or test of server subsystems or components
- hands-on experience working with diagnostics, system utilities and industry benchmarks
- leading efforts in defect management, driving issues to closure, engineering rigor, and global team engagement
