Job Description

The IOTG Platform Engineering (IPE) department is in search of a signal/power integrity engineer with high-speed interface design and simulation skills. IOTG is a fast growing group that delivers intelligent solutions to highly potential Internet of Things market. PE delivers validation and reference platforms and design collaterals to enable the intelligent IOT modules, gateways, and cloud server connection. We need a strong, self directed and motivated engineer to join the Signal Integrity and Power Delivery team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality design solutions.

In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Execute signal/power integrity simulation plans. Performing SI/PI analysis for silicon IO buffer, package and board designs. Solve SI/PI problems and provide solutions and trade-offs.
- Generate and validate models for use in SI/PI simulations. The models include package, via, trace, cable, connector, etc.
- Work with System Engineering and CAD teams to develop validation and reference designs. Driving implementation of guidelines and solutions into internal and external hardware designs. Support external customers on board design reviews and consultation.
- Improve signal integrity analysis method and efficiency.
- Work closely with silicon design and validation teams on signal integrity validation and correlation.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field

3+ months of experience in the following areas:
- Signal integrity in high speed design, simulation method, model generation

Preferred Qualifications:

- Signal integrity simulation tools, such as Hspice, Hyperlynx, Sigrity, Agilent ADS, etc.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$68,280.00-$102,340.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
