Determines, specifies and evaluates the viability of complex hardware features and structures and ensures that software and hardware designs interface correctly. Designs framework for particular functions. Defines, documents and tests processes for inclusion into technical platforms, subsystem specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility. Identifies, analyzes and resolves subsystem and/or SoC design weaknesses. Influences the shaping of future products by significantly contributing to the architecture used across design families. Provides multilayered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.

Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained
through a combination of prior education level classes, and current
level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job
and internship experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:
MS/PhD in CS, EE or similar
degree with focus on computer architecture or are relevant
academia.
Knowledge of domain-relevant
security technologies (e.g., TEE, cloud security, containers, SE,
TPM, OS security, secure boot) and the application for the
architecture, development, and validation of more robust and secure
solutions.
Knowledge of one or more
programming and/or scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB,
C/C++, C#, PERL, SQL, Python, R, Verilog) and the
willingness to plan, design, write, and debug code to solve
business problems and prove architectural algorithms and
flows.
Understanding of hacking techniques
(e.g., side channel threats) and willing to architect and design
software and hardware-based solutions to address security
vulnerabilities.
Knowledge of one or more of
the following domains in CPU core architecture, Memory interface,
microcode/pcode, BIOS, CSME, PCH, graphics, Uncore, IO
fabrics.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Understanding of cross domain
architectural features such as power management, DFx, Debug
technologies, power delivery, cache and memory technologies, and
computer architecture.

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$97,500.00-$146,340.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
