Intel's Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group (AXG) as
we're working on defining and analyzing future memory systems for
graphics and accelerators. The performance of leading products is
increasingly limited by the bandwidth and latency of the memory
system. Your role will be to investigate, and quantitively evaluate
different memory technologies and memory system architectures, and
to propose and drive memory system architecture solutions to meet
high performance product needs. You will need to have a strong
background in computer architecture and micro-architecture,
performance analysis and software. A background in system fabrics
and memory controllers is definitely a
plus.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer science or related discipline with 6+ years of experience. Or a Master's degree in the same fields with 4+ years of experience. Or a PhD in the same fields with 2+ years of experience.
Your experience should be in the
following:.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in SoC/Computer Architecture applying quantitative approach to architecture definition, and delivering architecture specifications that are actionable for product design.
- Minimum 1 year experience with performance analysis methods and tools e.g. C/C++ based simulation, PERL/Python scripting languages.
- Knowledge of cache architectures and performance properties of caches.
- Experience with architecture and micro-architecture analysis via simulation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of DRAM memory technologies
- Knowledge of memory controller microarchitecture
- Experience with hardware, software design and debug skills
- Experience with C/C++ performance modeling, PERL, Python
- Experience with performance scenarios/use cases and KPI/workloads

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$132,940.00-$199,800.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
