Develops software with a direct interface to hardware including microcode, IPspecific firmware, FPGA, and DSPs.
Responsible for designing and implementing interfaces that abstract low level hardware details from higher levels of software and firmware, performing design and code reviews, as well as testing and validating product implementations.
Qualifications
Minimum
qualifications are required to be initially considered for this
position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ year of
experience in computer architecture and BS Computer Science,
Electrical engineering, Business
Administration.
OR
3+ years of experience with a MS in Computer Science years.
Experience in programming in C.
Knowledge of Intel architecture: x86, x64.
Good teamwork and cooperation skills.
Good English skills for verbal communication and technical documentation authorship.
Good presentation skills.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience in layered designs, software patterns for embedded systems and resource management.

Work Model for this Role
