Develops software with a direct interface to hardware including microcode, IPspecific firmware, FPGA, and DSPs. Responsible for designing and implementing interfaces that abstract low level hardware details from higher levels of software and firmware, performing design and code reviews, as well as testing and validating product implementations.
An ideal candidate would exhibit behavioral skills that indicate:
- Good team work and cooperation
- Good English skills for verbal communication and technical documentation authorship
- Good presentation skills
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors in Computer engineering or computer science or related technical discipline.
Must have or expect the anticipated degree by June 2022.
3+ months of experience with the following skills:
- Experience in programming in C
- Knowledge of Intel architecture: x86, x64
- Working with layered designs and software patterns for embedded systems and resource management
- Experience with technical documentation authorship
This

Qualifications:
- PCIe knowledge is a plus
- Assembly code knowledge is plus
- Ability to work independently
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
