The Smart Edge Division is a commercial software business within Intel's Network Platforms Group with the mission of making it easy for enterprises to run compute intensive workloads on the premises edge with uncompromised security, at scale. Workloads encompass private mobility (4G, 5G), applications (e.g. AI, Media, Analytics), and third party CNFs/VNFs. The Smart Edge platform is where Intel innovation in CPUs, accelerators, FPGAs, security, and software come together for a world class differentiated end user experience. Customer traction for the Smart Edge platform is high and we are experiencing rapid growth. We are looking for a driven leader to join the organization to help ramp and scale the software business.
Responsibilities may include: Enabling Intel's Contact Centers to support new products and technologies. Represent the customers technical needs and representing also the voice of the customer (VOC) back to BU/Intel. Develop and present technical product training materials to customers and Intel Contact Centers. Work with the sales team to help resolve customers technical questions. Participate in customers visits, and presentations. Respond to customer/client requests or events as they occur.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in related technical field, or 7+ years of experience in Technical Roles.

Preferred Qualifications:
� System troubleshooting and/or analytical skills with experience on Linux servers.
� Knowledge of private 4G and 5G networks and architectures;
� Knowledge deploying private 4G and 5G networks, provisioning services to user equipment, managing network..
� Strong working knowledge with Kubernetes and Linux and based systems
� Knowledge of edge computing and related technologies and architectures.
� Experience with deploying Ubuntu Linux servers along with configuration. This requires a knowledge of file and directory manipulation in addition to using ssh, sftp and scp functions.
� Knowledge of Salesforce (CRM - Customer Relationship Management) and Jira (Engineering Issue Tracking Tool)
� Experience supporting customers internally/externally

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
