You will be a part of the team driving Intels vision of the future of the Data Center with an emphasis on networking. We develop Solutions that help transform Data Platforms Group to an organization that powers the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices through application acceleration sockets and Smart NICs. We are seeking motivated Validation Architects experienced in comprehending data center and edge networking infrastructure, willing to be a part of the team that brings cutting-edge solutions to our end customers.
You will be responsible for:
- Pathfinding validation solutions to ensure product quality and innovating new and better ways to validate and deliver full Networking Solutions through knowledge of use cases. Enabling the team with frameworks to simulate actual, or anticipated, customer workloads and relevant benchmarks
- Understanding and influencing product specifications, working closely with architects, design engineering, and validation teams to ensure performance and quality
- Defining validation strategies and methodologies
- Designing and implementing validation environments and capabilities to influence functional validation content
- Debugging complex systems in both pre- and post-silicon environments and managing customer requests
- Prior knowledge and experience in design verification, compatibility validation and stress testing is an added plus.
- Coordinating with management
and partners to maintain
schedules

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- The candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or relevant field with 12+ years of experience or a Masters degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or relevant field and 8+ years of experience in the industry.
- 5+ years of experience understanding customer use cases to develop and execute projects in the networking domain
- 2+ years of experience in technologies such as Ethernet networking architecture, protocols, topologies, networking products, software virtual switching, server virtualization, and orchestration software
- 5+ years of experience in debugging of complex platform, HW, SW, FW and environment issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Exhibit a solid understanding of datacenter hardware and software trends and solutions, including: Security, Storage (RDMA, NVMeoF) and Networking workloads (OVS, NFV) with associated SW stacks
- Experience with power, area and performance tradeoffs
- Experience with FPGA modeling and debug
- Understanding of newest technologies and apply them to real-life use cases.
