Job Description

Come join Intel's Design Engineering Group organization as an Analog Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing leading Intel designs.

Your responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

  • Custom analog circuit design, power delivery planning, layout interaction, extraction and co-optimization.

  • Validating design implementation and assumptions.

  • Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

  • Automating design tasks in order to complete the design in the most efficient fashion possible.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience with circuit design, circuit reliability tools/methodologies.

  • Minimum 1 year experience with performing layout or with supervising layout during execution.

  • Minimum 3 months experience in running one or more power delivery tools like Totem, RedHawk, Redhawk SC, PowerSI, 3D EMIR tools, Inductance modelling tools like ADS Momentum, HFSS, RaptorH/Helic.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understand IO (e.g. DDR) architecture for power delivery including all power mixing and switching scenarios in all analog content.

  • Top-metal planning for robust DC power delivery across all usage modes on all power supplies.

  • Bump planning and interactions with SORT/Package teams to close on different assembly, sort and reliability requirements.

  • Experience in running 2 or more power delivery tools like Totem, RedHawk, Redhawk SC, PowerSI, 3D EMIR tools, Inductance modelling tools like ADS Momentum, HFSS, RaptorH/Helic.

  • Experience working on both Intel and Foundry technologies.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
