SOC Analog Power Delivery Engineer

The Design Center is
seeking an engineer to join our SOC Power Delivery and Analog
Integration Team.
Join a dynamic hardware team
designing complete power delivery systems for current and future
Xeon processors. You will design, model, and validate power
delivery solutions that span silicon, package, and platform. These
cutting-edge designs are critical to product performance and
include SOC Integrated Buck
Regulators.
Responsibilities will require
creating solutions based on available area, power consumption, and
reliability requirements. Other responsibilities include generating
models of power domains and regulators (both motherboard and
on-die) for analysis of stability, ripple, droop, overshoot, and
current density. Candidates will also own post-silicon validation
of the power delivery solutions to ensure products meet
expectations.
Qualifications
Minimum
qualifications are required to be initially considered for this
position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer
Engineering
-OR-
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, with:
A solid command of Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
An understanding of analog circuits, feedback control systems.
Knowledge of circuit modelling software including (but not limited to) spice, with experience creating and debugging spice models.
Familiarity with VLSI design.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Methodical problem-solving skills.
A willingness to multitask and work in dynamic and team-oriented environment.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Scripting skills.
Familiarity with common power delivery systems.

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$84,060.00-$126,320.00
