As SOC Board Design Engineer, responsibilities include:

• System level design.

• Functional specifications.

• Board design.

• Signal integrity analysis.

• Technical documentation.

• Schematic capture.

• Component selection.

• Lab debug using scopes and analyzers.

• Digital and analog layout design skills.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science

• Experience in Schematic Capture Tools for board design

• FPGA development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Skills and experience in FPGA digital and analog board design, power design, technical documentation, board debug, schematic capture, layout skills, and signal integrity analysis.

• Experience with oscilloscopes, BERT, pattern generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.

• Good communication skills, leadership skills, problem solving skills. and willing to work in a team environment.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
