Come and join us at Intel we are seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Xeon and Networking Engineering group XNE as a Pre Silicon Design and Verification Engineer. Join a creative team of engineers in the XNE Silicon Solutions Engineering group, dedicated to designing the hardware technologies that network the leading cloud-service and telecommunication data centers.
We are looking for motivated and astute individuals to join our SOC team as Pre Si Design and Verification Engineer. You will join a close knit team responsible for doing design work, creating and maintaining test benches in OVM/UVM, creating test plans, running tests, debugging fails, analyzing coverage and regressions, and filing bugs for a high performance SOC.
In this role, responsibilities include, although not limited to:
Work on RTL design and integrating in-house or 3rd party IP's in the SOC.
Develop Pre Silicon functional validation tests to verify system will meet design requirements.
Create test plans for RTL validation.
Define and run system simulation models.
Find and implement corrective measures for failing RTL tests.
Analyze and use the results to modify testing.

Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The
candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or
Computer Engineering, Computer Science and 3+ years of
industry work
experience.
OR
Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science and 2+ years of industry work experience in:
OVM/UVM with functional verification.
Working with RTL, Verilog/System Verilog.
Using Perl, Python or TCL.
Synopsys or Cadence or other industry standard simulation tools.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience in RTL design and IP integration.
Experience in relevant Pre-Silicon validation position.
Experience in logic design/verification with various tools and methodologies.
Experience with global flows- reset, boot and power management.
Experience with Emulation.
Xeon and Networking Engineering (XNE) focuses on the development and integration of XEON and Networking SOC's and critical IP's sustain Intels Xeon and 5G networking roadmap.

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
