Intel's Custom Compute Group (XCC) is part of the Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group (AXG), and is chartered to provide custom and differentiated silicon/platform solutions to our customers for emerging use-cases and in new and strategic segments. XCC is looking for a highly motivated SoC Design Engineer to develop SoCs for Blockchain applications and other cutting edge technologies.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and verification of IPs and subsystems
• Integration of IPs and subsystems into SoC
• Performing all aspects of the SoC design flow from high level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing
• Setting up design environment and design flows
• Running and fixing design quality checks

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum skills and experience:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 1+ years of industry experience.  Or a Masters in the same filed with 3+ months of educational  or industry experience, degree must be completed by August 2022.  

Your experience must be in the following:   

• Frontend and/or backend work experience in IP or SoC design
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix, Verilog/System Verilog
• Scripting (Perl or Python)

Preferred skills and experience:

• Familiarity with frontend and/or backend design flows
