About our organization
The Advanced Design Library Technology group plays a leading role in designing standard cell libraries for Intel's next generation technologies. Acting in a highly-visible pathfinding capacity, you will help bridge the gap between design and process development by bringing critical design perspective to technology definition as well as aiding design teams in maximizing the benefits of new technology nodes.
About the role
As an SoC Design Engineer in the Standard Cell Development team, your responsibilities may include standard cell library content definition and circuit implementation, standard cell layout architecture definition and design rule closure, circuit design and layout optimization for performance and EM/electrical robustness, standard cell modeling and characterization, high-sigma analysis for Vmin validation.

Minimum
Qualifications
M.S. or Ph.D. degree in
Engineering or in a Physical Science with 4+ years of
professional work in the following
areas:
- Digital, mixed-signal, memory, and/or analog CMOS circuit design for low-power and high-speed VLSI
- Semiconductor device physics and scaling
- Technology design rules, process development, and process integration
Preferred:
- Ability to solve complex problems using computer algorithms and programming techniques
- Software development/programming in high-level languages (e.g. Java, C++, TCL, Lisp, Scheme, Perl)
- UNIX/Linux platforms
- Layout and Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
