us in the Xeon Engineering Group (XEG). XEG is responsible for
designing Intel's server class products. We have multiple design
teams across the US and India and close partnerships across all
major teams at Intel (process technology, manufacturing, iVE, IPG,
Core, ...).
Come join our Fort Collins based XEG
server design team responsible for designing the next generation
server products that will help shape the future of Intel. We have a
leadership role opening within the highly-regarded Fort Collins XEG
server design team. We are looking to hire an experienced SOC
Design/Validation leader. As a second level logic/verification
pre-silicon manager, this leader will be responsible for all
front-end aspects of delivering a tape-in ready server SoC design
for the next generation of Xeon processor and will play an active
role in driving logic/verification across XEG. In this role, you
will plan and set priorities for your team, ensure an inclusive
work environment, promote and exemplify Intel values, develop
technical and management leaders, manage performance, and execute
to project goals.
You will oversee an
engineering team responsible for some or all aspects of pre-silicon
SoC (System on a Chip) development including RTL development, RTL
integration of IPs, Validation collateral development, and many
types of validation (IP level, cluster level, SOC level, emulation
based). You will be responsible for partnering across
organizational boundaries worldwide. You will manage an extended
team with local engineers, contractors and internal Intel partners.
You will select, develop, and evaluate SoC design engineers to
provide effective development and ensure efficient operation. You
will be responsible to plan, organize and staff future programs
during the early start-up stage, consulting with a small number of
senior technical leads.
Your expectations
include contributing to project-level planning and execution
leadership spanning the entire design team. You will be expected to
present to vice presidents regularly on progress, so excellent
communication skills are a must. You will be expected to accurately
report your execution status at regular intervals and to set the
standard for clarity as a positive example to your team, peer
managers and senior
leaders.
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must have a
Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering
with 8+ years of industry experience -OR- a
Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, and
6+ years of industry experience
with:
Front-end tools and flows, including VCS, SV, SOC integration, SOC validation methodologies.
Strong communication skills and leadership examples are a must.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
In addition to the minimum
qualifications, the strongest candidates will have previous
experience on Xeon projects and prior managerial experience. As a
manager of managers, you will be responsible for the quality of the
management team in your
organization.
Xeon and Networking Engineering (XNE) focuses on the development and integration of XEON and Networking SOC's and critical IP's sustain Intels Xeon and 5G networking roadmap.

$171,710.00-$274,890.00
