Job Description
IT is a group of specialized professionals providing services to Intel's Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Corporate teams to sustain and maintain their work environments. IT participates in resolving customer issues and identifying and implementing system administration process improvements, including automation. What our team does:

  • End to End support including Design, Develop, QA, Release, and Support of the applications and the platform.
  • We develop microservices using JAVA spring boot.
  • Constantly enhancing our API for our customers using REST API guidelines.
  • Optimizing the performance by finetuning SQL stored procedure.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or similar software fields of study.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise Java development, Microservices, and web services.
  • Core JAVA development.
  • Advanced SQL Query language.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience monitoring and logging frameworks like NewRelic, Elasticsearch Logstash, and Kibana.
  • SQL development including optimizing the code and fine-tuning.
  • Experience in scripting languages like Python, PERL, PowerShell.
  • Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
  • CI/CD, DevOps solutions.
  • Windows operating system.
  • GitLib/GitHub.
  • Spring boot.
  • Open JDK 8.
  • Neo4J
  • Linux operating system.

Inside this Business Group

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
