Job Description

Employees of the Network Edge Group (NEX) have an exciting opportunity before them: To grow Intel's leadership position in the rapidly evolving IoT market by delivering the best silicon, software and services that meet a wide range of customer requirements . This role reports into NEX IOTG's IP Strategy and Management Office (IPSMO) in the Platform Management and Customer Engineering Division (PMCE). The candidate will be working on developing the Front End infrastructure to collect and analyze Customer datasets that drives the best solutions to Customer issues and tracks critical indicators. They will also be optimizing workflows with databases to enable and launch Early Access Programs. Need to have strong communication skills and the desire to help others.

Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications used by end users or integrated with other applications by ISV partners. Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development. Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end to end testing of applications. Completes SDL tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May also interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/ or work experience. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer, Electrical and Electronics, Software Engineering or Engineering in a related field.

6+ months of experience in the following:

  • C/C++, Java , Java script
  • Knowledge in Linux, Windows
  • Knowledge in Object-oriented Design

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 6+ months of experience in the following:

  • Qualtrics
  • Programming and debugging skills

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
