The Manufacturing
Business Solutions team collaborates with MIT and Manufacturing and
Operations to create and provide value to Intel Manufacturing
worldwide. We provide solutions in IOT, Analytics, Smart Factory,
and others. We are looking for an Engineering Manager with
experience in Software Engineering or in Manufacturing to lead a
group of software engineers in Arizona.
You will
lead and manage Scrum Masters and Developers in Agile Persistent
Teams supporting Manufacturing Analytics. Solutions include
Manufacturing projects supporting Intel factories worldwide. This
is an exciting leadership opportunity where you help technical
professionals develop on their career track, find and create
opportunities for team members, partner with MIT in delivering
business value while solving Manufacturing
problems.
You will act as the execution manager of a small company that delivers product development services by overseeing business development, customer satisfaction, defining and executing strategy including practical opportunities to demonstrate technical management, people management, biz acumen, financial acumen, customer relationship management, resource management and more.
As a manager, set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
Responsible for supervision/management of an IT function/site/corporate operation.
Day to day functional management of the organization, to include performance management, training/developing, forecasting/reporting, and budgeting/expense control.
Set future direction and plans.
Ensures operation meets basic user, headcount, and quality guidelines.
Represent operation.
Provide training program.
Provide day to day operational reporting/tracking indicators.
Requires advanced knowledge of a highly technical or professional field.
Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.
The
ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral
traits:
Technical leadership including management experience with good hiring practices including a track record of building and developing teams from CG hiring.
Good at coaching, strong interpersonal, communication skills to work with global partners.
Strategic mindset that tracks and adapts to company strategy/product/technology roadmaps.
Solid business acumen skills.
Develop relationships and engagements with Intel business groups/teams.
Strong Project Management skills.
Oversee multiple software engineering projects to make sure quality and schedule meet and exceed customer expectations.
Flexible and interested to learn the PPV business model to work under pressure.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a bachelors with 7+ experience or Master's degree with 5+ experience in any field Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience.
Experience with
Software
engineering practices in both platform and application areas,
including sound knowledge in software development
methodologies.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Expertise in one or more of the following SW engineering areas: Full Stack, Analytics, AI, Graphics, Embedded SW development, Network SW, Security SW.
Program or Project Management.
5+ years in leadership and/or management roles.
Inside this Business GroupIntel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
