The Ethernet Platforms Group is driving next-generation networking technologies to meet the needs of the ever-evolving cloud. Be a part of this revolution. As a software architect you will define new technologies and software initiatives related to Ethernet Products from drivers to SDKs. You will work closely with silicon teams designing software friendly architectures and supporting software engineering execution. This includes delivery of architecture specs, reviewing silicon designs, reviewing software design documents and supporting in-field issues.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 9+ years of related work experience
• Experience working with software for network ASIC products, from drivers to applications
• In-depth knowledge of cloud networking technologies, protocols and software stacks, usage models and deployment strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate degree preferred
• Experience delivering and deploying RDMA technologies including application facing work
• Experience with open source ecosystems at the OS and middleware layers
• Experience working with silicon engineering teams to drive software friendly designs
• Experience defining and driving manageability solutions for network products
