Software Architect/Technical Documentation Manager

Leads the creation, implementation, and optimization of software tools in support of the technical collateral generation effort in DCPAE (Data Center Processing Architecture Engineering). Utilizes modern software development methodologies, programming languages, domain knowledge, and secure coding practices to design, develop, debug, and/or validate algorithms, software tools, and systems that enable our internal/external engineering partners to design and implement the information that flows from our product development teams to our customers. Examples of documents include External Data Sheets, Platform Design Guides and other technical papers.
The position architects the entire documentation ecosystem for DCPAE. The position also requires the management of up to ten technical writers located across North America.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a minimum of:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in software tool development.
- You must have experience architecting solutions that modernize existing collateral development processes.
- Expertise with the IPIX documentation development tool is required.
- Experience managing a team of technical writers is desired.
- Knowledge of DCPAE's documentation processes and dependencies preferred.
- Must have documented experience training engineers with the IPIX documentation tool

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
