Develops and maintains test automation frameworks and solutions used in the development, validation, and/or debug of software products.

Develops frameworks consisting of multiple front-end, back-end, and database technologies running at scale 24 x 7 with cleanly designed RESTful APIs.

Provides interfaces/integrations with Intel tools and databases to be leveraged in CI pipelines.

Identifies automation opportunities for accelerating time to information to make product ship/don't ship decisions.

Qualifications

This position will focus on implementing and improving automation for platform validation teams to use automated continuous integration for multiple operating systems including Linux, VMWare, and Windows.

They will need to develop and debug interfaces to access and control low level hardware remotely run validation test provide results and telemetry back to the validation teams. They need to have the skills to debug software infrastructure issues that will likely be in a remote lab. The candidate will work closely with automation teams to support them and make sure that their automation pipeline is working to their requirements.

Team members will be expected to write code according to code quality standards, perform code reviews and carefully follow coding documentation standards.

Skills:

• Python programing experience is mandatory

• Knowledge of hardware instrumentation is a plus

• Low level scripting and coding skills

• Proficiency with open-source code management tools GitHub

• Experience on low level hardware interfaces RS232C, IPMI I2c, USB TCPIP, etc. Is a plus

• Experience using and configuring containers

• Desire experience with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes

• Candidate must have 5+ years of experience

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$113,500.00-$170,120.00
