Intel's Software and
Advanced Technology Group is seeking a Software Competitive
Intelligence Analyst to join the team to create and maintain
detailed, timely, and insightful analyses and recommendations on
the Software products and strategies of key competitors and
communicate this information effectively to the oneAPI software
product management team. This is an opportunity to play a key role
in Intel's commitment to leadership software products that delight
customers and win in the marketplace.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited
to:
- Evaluating Intel software products, portfolios, technologies vs. competitors
- Developing quantitative and analytic methods to insightfully understand competitor behavior
- Developing methods to automatically track competitor behavior
- Predicting competitors' software product directions
- Collaborating with other competitive intelligence centers within Intel to develop holistic pictures of Intel's competitive stance
- Developing effective ways to communicate analysis work products, such as through alerts, periodic presentations, and dashboards
An ideal candidate would exhibit behavioral skills that indicate:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated leadership, drive, and teamwork
- Demonstrated ability to tackle complex analytical problems
- Ability to draw conclusions from imperfect and incomplete data
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ in Computer Science /Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical degree.
- 2+ year experience developing or using computational software tools, such as compilers, debuggers, or AI frameworks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in competitive analysis
- MBA or Masters degree in computer science or electrical or related technical discipline/

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
