Leads the creation, implementation, and optimization of software tools in support of various domains including design, manufacturing, validation, silicon production, systems integration, software application products, or ecosystem enabling.
Utilizes modern software development methodologies, programming languages, domain knowledge, and secure coding practices to design, develop, debug, and/or validate algorithms, software tools, and systems that enable our internal/external engineering partners to design/manufacture intel silicon, integrate Intel silicon and/or software into impactful products.
Examples of tools/systems include debuggers, analyzers, SDKs, IDEs, PDKs, performance monitors, software tools and libraries, flows, and/or methodologies for design, manufacturing, validation, and test.
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience listed
below would be obtained through a combination of your
schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or
internship experiences.
This position is not
eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship for
those with a Bachelor's degree and less than 3 years of
experience.
Intel sponsors
individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we
experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles
are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a
Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor's degree with
three years' related job experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree.
OR
Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree and experience in any programming language.
Candidate must possess the degree by employment start date.
Preferred
Qualifications:
1+ years of related experience.
Automated test equipment experience.
Working theory of semiconductor device test and design (DFT) for test methods.
DFT Experience, Array Test Program Development in High Volume Manufacturing.
Advanced Statistical Data Analysis and data system automation skills.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
