Platform Security Engineering (PSE) is a small, high-output team in the Software and Advanced Technology Group. Our team invents next-generation "AI for Security" solutions to detect cyber threats using Intel CPU features and machine learning techniques http://www.intel.com/tdt. Solutions developed by our team have been deployed in over a billion systems.

We are seeking a motivated Software Developer to join our team.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Software Architects, Developers, and Data Scientists to develop the next generation of Threat Detection Technology. You will be willing to learn from and be mentored by one of the best software development teams at Intel.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical discipline.

• Knowledge of Software design methodologies and software programming.

• 6+ months of experience coding in Python or C/C++.

• Diagnosing technical problems, debugging code, and automating routine tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship experience.

• Knowledge in computer security, malware analysis and detection.

• Knowledge of Operating Systems, C/C++ programming and data structures, CPU architectures.

• Highly motivated self-starter.

• Agile software development.

• Linux development tools.
