You will join the Intel Compiler Quality Engineering team that supports the development infrastructure, validation, and delivery of industry-leading C/C++ and Fortran compiler products. Our compilers are used by Intel's customers across a wide range of industries to ensure that their applications take full advantage of Intel platforms' capabilities and performance.
In this position, your focus will be on agile development of software tools and on deploying cutting-edge continuous integration and delivery of Intel compilers, to internal and external customers. These software tools are used for builds, stability and performance testing/analysis, release automation, and delivery of Intel compilers. Some of these tools are developed internally, some are from the open-source community, and some of them are from third-party software tools providers. You will also work on providing leading-edge software solutions and global infrastructure to help compiler developers and quality teams worldwide be more effective in their everyday work.
In this role, responsibilities
include but are not limited
to:
- Identifying opportunities and enabling moves to the latest cutting-edge tools to improve developer productivity, ease maintenance, and delivery process
- Development and deployment of CICD environment
- Working with IT on new hardware/software installation and set-up
- Working closely with Intel IT to ensure compliance with IT security standards and requirements
- Debugging and resolving issues in the computing infrastructure, in conjunction with Intel IT staff
- System administration of different operating systems (Linux, macOS, Windows)
- Tracking project hardware and schedules
- Planning and ordering new systems, including internal pre-production software development platforms
- Determining how to integrate support for new capabilities
An

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or
related technical discipline with 1+ year of experience or
Masters degree in one of the above-mentioned
fields
1 or more years of experience
with the following
skills:
- Working with computer hardware components and its standards
- Use of computer networks, base communication equipment, and TCP/IP
- Administration of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems
- Strong Agile development experience and working knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Ability to troubleshoot different aspects of HW/OS related issues
- Proficient in one or more scripting languages like shell, Python, Perl, Windows Script Host (WSH), Visual Basic Scripting (VBS)
- Proficient in Jenkins, Github, and Artifcatory; nice if also familiar with other top tools in the market used in CICD.
- Ability to automate routine/repeatable procedures

$84,060.00-$126,320.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
