Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications used by end users within the Manufacturing Supply Chain and Operations organization. Development will span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development. Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end to end testing of applications. May also interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/ or work experience.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in software engineering, computer engineering or any other STEM related field

6+ months of experience in the following:

• Web development using any of the following libraries/frameworks: JQuery, Angular, React, Vue
• Developing RESTful APIs using .NET and/or .NET Core

• Experience in scripting languages like python, PERL, powershell
• Experience with micro services and containers, e.g. docker, kubernetes
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
• CI/CD, DevOps solutions

SQL development on Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle database management systems
