The Microsoft
Technology Center team (MTC) at Intel is seeking a OS Software
Engineer who will be responsible for the exploration, design,
development, debug and enabling of a Windows kernel mode device
driver supporting the Intel Platform Monitoring Device. This
includes working on HW, FW, SW, and OS flows to understand the
requirements needed to implement various features and runtime power
management in a Windows device driver.
You will

Qualifications
This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship for those with a Bachelors degree and less than 3 years of experience. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelors degree with three years related job experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 6+ months of experience
6+ months experience with:
- Operating system internals
- Kernel mode programing and C/C++
- Computer architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience
with:
- Understanding of Intel Architecture.
- Windows systems internals experience.
- Understanding of device driver interaction with OS and hardware

be compensated accordingly.

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$114,000.00-$171,000.00
