We're
looking for talented engineers to create, develop, test, and
support software that enables Intel to manufacture leading edge
semiconductors as part of its Sort Test Technology Development
(STTD) organization.
As
a software engineer, you will design, develop, integrate, test,
validate, and/or debug software across multiple layers of the
software stack spanning firmware, drivers, operating systems,
middleware, frameworks, algorithms, and applications/UI for a
specific technology, product/platform, and/or market segment,
including the development of software to enable specific features,
capabilities, solutions, reference platforms, or Intel
products.
This position
involves work on a U.S. Government contract which may impose
certain security requirements:
- If you are
a U.S. citizen, the government may require that you certify that
you are a U.S. citizen.
- If you
are not a U.S. citizen, the government may require you to pass a
security check before you can be approved to work on the
project.
Please note
that any offer by Intel for this position is conditioned upon
meeting and/or passing the U.S. government's security check
requirements should the government impose these
requirements.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or Master's
degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related
discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in
object-oriented software design and development (e.g., C#,
C++, Java)
Preferred
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in the following:
- Knowledge of Networking Technologies: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP,
TFTP, PXE, VLAN, Cisco Routers/Switches, Ethernet, Network Address
Translation (NAT), Port forwarding, Multicast, Unicast,
WireShark.
- Scripting languages, Python, batch,
etc.
- Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Windows
Communication Foundation (WCF).
- Net Framework/.Net
Core experience.
- Database
technologies.

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
