The System Software and Simulation Engineering (S3E) team in SATG is driving software-first strategy at Intel through early robust system simulators. We are transforming the way our product firmware and software are developed and simulated in a modern cloud computing environment. We deliver an integrated functional, performance, power, and thermal simulation several quarters before the first silicon.

Great simulators result in leadership products by simulating our architecture and software before committing our product execution. We are looking for strong software and systems engineers with a proven track record of leadership roles on large-scale software development projects.

• Designs, develops, integrates, tests, validates, and/or debugs software across multiple layers of the software stack spanning firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, frameworks, algorithms, and applications/UI for a specific technology, product/platform, and/or market segment, including the development of software to enable specific features, capabilities, solutions, reference platforms, or Intel products.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelors with 3+ year or Master's degree with 2+ year in Computer/Electrical Engineering

• Software development and software engineering skills with relevant project or work experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid programming skills in C++ and Python.

• Solid fundamental understanding of computer architecture and systems architecture.

• Experience with development and testing tools, such as git and Jenkins.

• Experience using Linux development environments.

• Skills and experience in software testing and automated test development.

• Solid written and verbal communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving.

• Experience in developing Dashboards using modern technology such as Power BI, Splunk etc..

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$97,500.00-$146,340.00
