Designs, develops, maintains, tests, debugs, optimizes, secures, and/or evaluates OS Kernel and system software, including device drivers, virtualization, hypervisor, and/or other software technologies both open source and proprietary. Utilizes knowledge in software architecture, design, debug, development, operating system internals, and silicon on platform features.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of relevant work experience; OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 4+ years of relevant work experience.

4+ years experience in:

• OS kernel or device driver development
• OS kernel debugging
• X86 Architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in

• Linux OS kernel or device driver development
• Windows OS kernel or device driver development
• Platform optimization

$149,020.00-$223,560.00
