Our team exists to revolutionize the way Intel does data in the high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. We strive to enable faster/better decision-making for our global network of chip manufacturing customers - customers primarily including product/process/yield/quality engineers and their management teams. We build automated systems to extract, transform, analyze, visualize, and monetize data to the strategic advantage of our customers.
Our team utilizes custom Big Data processing tools, advanced Machine Learning techniques, and domain knowledge of Intel's chip fabrication process. It is our core business to transform BIG DATA into BIG ROI - and we have fun doing it.
Core responsibilities will include:
- Testing and developing software to meet user requirements
- Troubleshooting and fixing issues resulting from dynamic input sources
- Contributing to team code bases using good source control and software development practices.
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Computational Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or
other relevant technical engineering discipline.
1-2 years of experience
in:
- Writing and maintaining efficient, reusable and reliable C, C++, and/or C# code.
- Demonstrable experience working with team-centric source control development tools (e.g. Git, JIRA)
- Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle SQL.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Development of Windows applications.
- Working knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistics, linear algebra and/or numerical methods.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
