As a Software Engineer your job responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Solves engineering problems critical for technology and product development through software expertise, domain knowledge, modeling, and research methodologies.
Develops strategic software applications, algorithms/flows, and/or AI solutions to ensure continued advancement.
Researches technological trends, collaborates with industry, academic, and industry standardization, product, and technical groups to address important technology and customer issues, and finds innovative solutions to difficult problems for midterm or long-term time frames (two years or beyond).
May research to define boundaries, create proof of concepts, or prototype new ideas.

Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained
through a combination of prior education level classes, and current
level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job
and/or internship experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer or Computer Science Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (a degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Information Science with an emphasis on Computer Science could also be acceptable).
2+ year's of working experience with software development in multiple programming languages (example: Ruby, Python, C/C++, Java).
Preferred
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the following:
Web Interfaces such as JavaScript, Vue.js, Rails, Django.
Database architecture and languages such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
Integrated Circuit Design concepts (Simulation, Layout, Verification).
Semiconductor Manufacturing concepts (Lithography, Wafer Fabrication).
Linux and Windows Operating systems and system functions.
Project management, project planning, information systems management, and computer information systems.
Distributed computing and datacenter system architecture.
Circuit Physical Design automation applications that run in a Linux environment.

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
