Come and join us. Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join the BXD (Barefoot Switching Division) in our Network and Edge Group (NEX) as a Technical Product Manager. We're looking for motivated, passionate and talented product managers to join our product management team. We're a strong and tight-knit team which helps drive Intel's programmable switching technology and products to position Tofino as the switching platform of choice and for the Cloud, Data Center, Enterprise and Telco network deployments.

In this role, you will act as a technical liaison between customers (Cloud Operators, OEM and ODM), and sales and engineering teams in order to advance Barefoot's business in China. This is a highly visible role with a broad scope.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

- Gather and synthesize requirements for new features and solutions based on Barefoot P4 Studio Software Development

- Barefoot's P4-programmable ASICs and drive those requirements with engineering.

- Drive customer technical decision makers to adopt Barefoot products and technologies into their network architectures and products.

- Project management of customer engagements from initial requirements gathering to trials and production deployment.

- Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects; Communicate highly technical concepts in a simple manner to a variety of audiences, including executive level technical decision-makers

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirement:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years industry experience.

Minimum Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in technical product management, technical sales, technical marketing at a networking system, software or silicon vendor, and/or experience working in a customer environment.

- 2+ years of experience defining and executing on product strategy

- 1+ years of experience with Linux/UNIX, Network monitoring Big Data

- 1+ years of experience with Distributed hyper-converged storage solutions

Additional Preferred Qualifications

- 1+ years of experience with P4 programming

- 2+ years of experience with Python scripting and/or C/C++ development

- 2+ years of experience Networking industry certifications like CCIE

- 2+ years of experience Cloud industry certifications like Alibaba, AWS, Azure, Google

- 2+ years of experience with Data Center, Enterprise, Telco and Cloud Architectures and Applications

- 2+ years of experience in Solid with end-to-end networking from ASIC architectures to software, systems and network designs  

- Masters degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 5+ years of industry experience
