As a
Software Engineer (C++) on Intel's Technology Development Analytics
and Automation (TDAA) Image Analysis Systems team, you will
participate in the design, development, implementation, and
maintenance of image inspection applications. Develop and add
critical capabilities to image analysis frameworks used in
manufacturing defect detection systems. The position requires an
understanding of state-of-the art techniques. Responsibilities will
include, but not be limited to developing and maintaining computer
vision software and machine learning
stacks.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be
initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications
are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a
plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below
would be obtained through a combination of your
schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or
internship
experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with computer science fundamentals including networking, operating systems, and distributed systems.
6+ months of experience in the following areas:
- Software development experience.
- C++ and Object-Oriented Design Patterns.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multithreaded/distributed computing using parallel programming libraries (e.g., Intel Parallel Studio, OpenMP, MPI, etc..) is desirable.
- Qt/Angular UI frameworks.
- JavaScript.
- Go/Python.
- gRPC.
- MATLAB.
- Understanding of Linux kernels and Windows internals.
- Understanding of computer vision / image processing.
- Understanding of cloud systems and microservice architectures.
- Knowledge of linear algebra and probability are very desirable for this position.
- Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
