Looking for a challenge? Intel's Computational and Modeling Technology (CMT) group is looking for engineers with software expertise who can help us push Intel's computing capabilities even further. We are looking for new team members who will be passionately motivated by seeing their work go into new advanced processors that will be used by millions of end-users.

In this position you will participate in the development of next-generation computational imaging tools, which are critical to Intel's relentless pursuit of Moore's Law. You will be actively engaged in the development of new algorithms and working to invent new methods to improve lithography patterning at Intel. You will also be involved in supporting mission-critical software in a production environment.

This is an entry-level position and compensation will be given accordingly.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or other relevant related degrees with a software focus.

  • 6+ months of experience in Coding.

  • 6+ months of development experience in a Linux environment.


Preferred Qualification:
6+ months of experience in/with the following:

  • Optical Proximity Correction (OPC), lithography simulation, and physical modeling,

  • Electromagnetic Theory and Diffractive Optics,

  • Technology CAD tools or numerical process simulators,

  • Large scale data processing,

  • Big data visualization.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
