In this position, you'll be part of a team working to secure our software products with a big focus on system software. If system software is not your favorite thing, don't stop reading: firmware, operating system, libraries, tools, middleware, etc. Intel's software catalog covers all the SW stack, so there's something for you. You'll be writing new tools to reach where no current commercial tools can.

Product teams will come to you as an expert so that you can enable and guide them to improve the security of their product. The team works across organizations within Intel. We expect you to contribute to open-source tools, to present at conferences, to teach about all the goodness that fuzzing can achieve.

Qualifications

• Experience in fuzzing. AFL++/LibAFL, Libfuzzer, Syzkaller, etc.
• Good understanding of development processes focused on maintainability using CI and automated tools (Jenkins, GitHub actions, Sphinx, Read the Docs, etc).
• Excellent programming skills in C/C++.

Experience or knowledge in at least 3 of the following:

• Some understanding of OS and hypervisor internals (Linux, Windows, Xen, Hyper-V, ACRN, etc).
• Good understanding of x86 architecture.
• Good understanding of compiler and decompiler technologies (LLVM, BNIL).
• Good understanding of compiler assisted run-time bug detection systems (sanitizers).
• Rust, assembly.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 2+ years of industry experience.
OR
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum with 1+ years of industry experience.
