This position is for a deep learning robotics engineer specializing in audio and NLP and responsibilities include:

  • Setting the technical direction and architectural design of a customer, ecosystem software vendor, and/or open source community software project.
  • Evaluating ecosystem technology readiness and design end to end solutions architectures to customer/ecosystem problems, including any required changes to HW and SW.
  • Making high-level design choices for the software structure, frameworks, protocols, and algorithms. Determining coding practices, development tools, and validation requirements.
  • Performing pathfinding and surveys technologies.
  • Interacting  with technologists across Intel and within the industry, and with developers and project managers to evaluate feasibility of requirements, determine priorities for development, and with customers to communicate IA solutions and identifying customer gaps to set engineering direction.


Qualifications

Education qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or higher in Computer science, Electrical Eng, and Software Eng.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience, in Intel Architecture (XPU), and OpenVINO.
  • SW optimization techniques for Intel Cores and GPUs, OneAPI etc.
  • Expertise optimizing code for GPU architecture by exploiting SIMD, and multi-core/thread parallelism.
  • A background in kernels development in OpenCV or PCL.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skills to deep dive debugging GPU performance issue.
  • Experience in OpenCL or CUDA.
  • Excellent programming skills and knowledge of C.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$132,940.00-$199,800.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
