This position will be a highly visible external technical evangelist for CPU and GPU optimization techniques using oneAPI, the oneAPI Rendering Toolkit, SYCL, and the developer learning experience with Intel DevCloud. This person will be responsible for delivering technical training, creating technical content (including videos), working with software companies to help enable their adoption of oneAPI and Intel hardware, and speaking at developer conferences and events world-wide.
The Developer Ecosystem Programs (DEP) organization plays a critical role in keeping Intel connected to the developer communities that are as passionate about technology as we are. Our focus is on supporting third-party developers who want to learn, explore and build applications and businesses on Intel's platforms. The software engineers within our organization act as passionate evangelists for Intel technologies and are also advocates for developer interests within Intel. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys connecting with developers and speaking publicly about cutting-edge technologies on conference panels, at user groups, on blogs/videos/social, and with the press. In this position you will promote Intel software tools, current and upcoming technologies, and the latest hardware platforms. Your work will foster a community working with Intel platforms to influence, internally and externally, the best possible experience on IA for developers.
An ideal candidate would have behavioral traits that indicate:

Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and 7+ years of relevant work experience, including experience working directly with software partners.
3 or more years with the following skills:
- Experience in C++ programming with application or algorithm experience for graphics or CPU/GPU performance optimization.
- Experience creating both written (tutorial, blog and/or training course) and video content.
- Ability to deliver content to a developer audience with excellent communication.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree with 7+ years of experience in Computer Science/Engineering or similar, and 5+ years of relevant work experience with the following:
- Established industry credibility and a track record of speaking at events and conferences.
- Expertise with graphics technologies such as the oneAPI Rendering Toolkit and its components (Intel Embree, Intel Open Image Denoise, Intel OSPRay, Intel OSPRay Studio, Intel Open Volume Kernel Library).
- Expertise in C++, parallel programming, and/or Python using libraries and compilers to demonstrate how to design, develop and deploy algorithms and applications on a CPU, GPU, FPGA or other accelerator.
- Knowledge of Intel graphics hardware/software architecture and drivers.
- Willingness to travel up to 25 percent when conditions allow.
- In addition to these areas, the candidate needs to possess a willingness to constantly learn new technologies and be able to share your learnings with peers and external developers. Ability to thrive in a constantly evolving environment with frequent new challenges not necessarily related to what you were previously working on.

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$113,210.00-$187,350.00

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
