We're looking for highly qualified, motivated, passionate, and talented senior software engineers to join our Ethernet driver validation and technology pathfinding team. We're a best-in-class validation team that relentlessly driving the highest quality of EPG products with the most optimal cost via continuous improvement, learning and product mindset. vibrant cross-site team which helps drive Intel's Ethernet technology and products to position Intel x86 as the server platform of choice and Intel Ethernet products as Ethernet of choice for the Cloud, Communications and Data Center deployments.

At a high-level, you'll influence our Validation Strategy, and our Validation Standards, Direction, Technology and Methodology. In this role, your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, you will create network software validation strategy following solid validation methodologies and practices.

As a Software Validation Technologist, you will:

       Review technical documents (hardware and software architecture and requirements specifications).

       Provide estimates (resource, time, feasibility) and feedback to architects, development, PMs, and validation managers and ensure issues and gaps are addressed.

       Assist validation engineers and managers in technical reviews of new technologies and identify test coverage gaps.

       Define the effective debug approaches, effective validation software requirements and technically leads the teams towards producing accelerated and efficient results.

       Establish cutting edge validation practices including effective debug approaches, test content design, automation strategies and drive adoption of those best practices into validation execution

       Coach validation engineers and key stakeholders in their technical growth and skills to produce accelerated and efficient results, continuous learning and contribute to the organizations training content library.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 1+ years experience in Software/ Hardware validation 1+ years of experience in automation & scripting skills (i.e. Python, Bash and PowerShell)
• 1+ years of experience of networking, ethernet protocols, device drivers and operating systems (i.e. Windows, Linux and ESXi experience is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in Software/ Hardware validation (Device drivers experience preferable)
• Maters Master's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study
• Experience with data analysis and problem-solving.
• Experience in software validation approaches and methodologies.
• Experience with test content development, issues debugging and resolutions
