Test Module Engineers work in Logic Technology Development (LTD) Sort/Test, Class and/or Burn-In Test Areas. LTD Sort/Test supports electrical test on both wafer and packaged units of development products of all Intel's lead 10nm, 7nm, and beyond transistor node technologies. Test Module Engineers are responsible for leading scientific research enabling manufacture of innovative device architectures coupled with the realization of these architectures. Designing, executing and analyzing experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process. Participating in development of intellectual property, development of the equipment necessary to enable the test contents needed for technology development (in collaboration with equipment suppliers).Developing the test PCB board through product test requirement review with the design team to ensure compatibility of tester/handler systems. Owning or being engaged in the test program development and improvement. Handling the daily issues with test systems and operations in order to provide the large volume of high quality data for R and D fab process development. Working effectively with the equipment supplier to identify shortcomings, propose and evaluate hardware modification to mitigate issues and develop novel solutions. Collaborating with other Intel test sites to drive the test quality and sustaining excellence.
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below
may be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work,
internships, military training, and/or work experience.
Minimum
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a PhD in Physical Sciences or Engineering (Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics will be preferred) or expect to have the required degree before starting the position.
- 1+ years designing and building equipment in STEM related fields
Preferred
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in device or circuit design, layout, or testing.
- 1+ years of experience with device characterization and instrumentation.
- 1+ years of programming experience in instrument control.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in instrument design, test system development, or design validation, or experience designing and characterizing equipment or electronics for complex automated systems and experiments.
