SUMMARY
MPE
(Manufacturing Product Engineering) develops test programs that
validate products function as designed, debug product issues prior
to launch, and drive improvements to product yield. The link
between product design and high-volume manufacturing, we help
ensure Intel products go through a rigorous quality test before
shipping to our customers.
Job
Description
Responsible for production support engineering
with respect to testing methods, procedures, and problem device
specification and yield problems minor redesign of devices and
masks analysis of customer returns and optimizing device production
relative to cost constraints. Assumes responsibility for device
after transfer into high volume production and usually responsible
for entire device manufacturing operations other than wafer
fabrication. May assist customer in device usage problems or
customer testing of complex devices. Plans and schedules daily
tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education
and judgement based on standard
practices.
Responsibilities of Site Product Engineer
include:
New product introductions and overall sort/test
product health and performance.
Support for Product NPI
System, including local New Product Introduction (NPI) team,
connection with Fab and Division planning.
Communication
of stepping changes, product roadmaps and impact of new products to
die sort factory success indicators.
Support product
transfer activities with the virtual factory.
Interfacing and collaborating with MPE teams to develop a stable
and effective sort test content including supporting test planning
and sort/test debug activities.
Supporting test program
readiness and content.
SPOC for Sort WG
forums.
Working with MPE partners and other stakeholders
on product schedules, defining bin limits, and quality
indicators.
Managing route flows, process changes and
ensuring data integrity.
Bin limit and iLLIAD logic
optimization.
Test new tools and applications for
continuous sort/test process
improvement.
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below
would be obtained through a combination of your
schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or
internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be
compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications:
This position is not eligible for employment-based
visa/immigration sponsorship for those with a Bachelor's
degree and less than 3 years of experience. Intel sponsors
individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we
experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles
are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a
Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor's
degree.
Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or related fields and 1+ years experience OR a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or related fields and Schoolwork/research/internship experience in at least one of the following languages SQL, JMP/JuMP
Software background and programming skills, such as JMP/JuMP, C++, C Sharp, Perl, Python, any scripting language Preferred Qualifications:

Statistical analysis and characterization of semiconductor products
Automated Test Equipment
Digital/Analog electronic circuits
Semiconductor device fabrication as it pertains to diodes and transistors
Electrical measurement techniques and tools used in the analog circuit debug and lab bench work e.g. Oscilloscopes
Logic device testing at wafer sort/packaged parts
Exposure to high volume manufacturing
