Sr. Director, Healthcare Services Product Innovation

Responsibilities:
The Director of Healthcare Services Product Innovation will work with Performants Healthcare leadership team in an effort to define, develop and implement transformative audit delivery services. You will provide leadership in building audit solutions from clients needs and market gaps. You will decipher a multitude of data inputs to realize what is most important to clients while iteratively recommending solutions that are validated with customer input and align with fiscal performance requirements.

Essential Duties
Spearhead review, refinement and enhancement of Performants Audit offerings, deliverables, and related production capabilities in order to establish best-in-class services.
Develop outcome-oriented data-driven strategies to broaden audit offerings by leveraging Performants unique analytic technologies.
Look beyond data to identify and clearly communicate issues and opportunities as well as develop actionable recommendations that ensure achievement of organizations stated objectives.
Identifying the relationships among multiple sources and types of data, and organizing this information to facilitate effective data analysis
Identifying potential opportunities and effectively communicating service offerings through both internal and external stakeholders
Providing feedback and performance management to staff

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Proven track record in project management and coordination / integration efforts across multiple groups
Demonstrated proficiency in technology as required for assigned areas (MS Office, audit data analytics, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization structure
Ability to deal well with ambiguity. Can effectively shift focus and priorities, as well as handle risk and adversity comfortably.

Physical Requirements
Job is in a busy standard office environment with moderate noise level, sits at a desk during scheduled shift, uses office phone system; views a computer monitor, types on a keyboard and uses a mouse. Reads and comprehends information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed).
Sit/stand 8 or more hours per day; has the option to stand as needed while on calls; reach as needed to use office equipment
Consistently viewing a computer screen, typing, using a keyboard and mouse
Uses phone; head-set can be provided
Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 10lbs.





Performant is a government contractor. Certain client assignments for this position may require submission to and successful outcome of additional background and/or clearances throughout employment with the Company. 

-Must submit to and pass background check. Must not have any Federal or State liens resulting from County, State or Federal tax issues. 
-Must not have any current defaulted student loans.
-Must be able to pass a criminal background check; must not have any felony convictions or specific misdemeanors.
-Must submit to and pass drug screen.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
15+ years of Healthcare claims audit experience in roles with significant leadership responsibility
Extensive knowledge and experience of audit concept development, validation and quality assurance practices
Extensive experience working with Healthcare payers and related regulatory bodies, and current industry events and trends
