The Visual Compute SoC
Pre-Si systems team is seeking enthusiastic, driven, and curious
engineers to join the pre-si platform validation team. We strive to
lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class
engineering. Our team plays a key role in ensuring silicon and
system-level quality through Pre-Silicon Systems (PSS). Leveraging
your hardware and software engineering skills in this highly
visible group, you will deliver complete integrated pre-silicon
platforms to enable validation and development of our portfolio of
next generation of graphics.
In this position
you will:
Lead the integration bring-up and debug of the full HW/FW/SW stack of components on our continuum of pre-silicon platforms
Leverage your technical and leadership skills with cross functional teams to enable complex flows in pre-silicon and ensure Intel meets its time to market and quality goals.
Apply your validation skills to develop test plans, drive integration and bring up of BIOS, firmware and software stacks with emulation, FPGA, and virtual platforms.
Drive implementation of standardized processes and participate in continuous improvements of processes and supporting tools
Drive infrastructure enhancements and BKMs in platform release flows and automation
Collaborate with architects, logic designers, SW, FW developers to drive continuous improvement to Design, SW stack, Validation plans/collateral, and methodology to find bugs
Generate customer releases, document results, communicate project status and provide training to customers
Execution of system level use cases, tracking execution and sightings

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and internship experience.
Minimum Skills and experience:
Candidate must have a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering,
Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 4+ years of
experience -OR- Masters and 3+ years
experience.
Experience must be in 3
of the following areas:
SoC design or verification
FPGA or emulation platforms
Pre-Silicon prototyping tools, flows and methodologies
Hybrid/Virtual Platform extensions for prototyping
FW development or Validation
C or C++, Python, and low-level debug
Preferred skills and
experience:
Experience with Graphics SoC architecture
Detailed knowledge of IP or subsystem architecture such as Power Management, Graphics, PCIe or Memory Subsystem
Experience with Scripting (Python, PERL)
Knowledge of Pre-Si emulation flows, working with FSDB files, etc.
Familiarity with the ASIC design flow and project life cycle

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
