An exciting opportunity to work in US Sales Finance driving sales growth, executing strategic initiatives, driving performance framework, and delivering superior return on investment for Apple at the US Carriers. A successful candidate will be an independent, highly motivated, team oriented individual who will become a dedicated business partner supporting US Reseller Sales and WW iPhone Sales Finance. This role will include the opportunity to learn to be a day-to-day Financial Controller managing multiple Carrier accounts with direct inputs into strategy and business insights

Key Qualifications

  • 4 to 7+ years in a dynamic, high growth environment, with preference towards prior finance focused experiences (eg. Banking, Financial Services, etc.)
  • Collaborative business partner with sales and marketing teams
  • Standout colleague, excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Working experience with Carriers and smartphone OEMs is a plus

Description

The position reports to US Carrier Controller and requires extensive financial modeling, market analysis, competitive assessment, reporting, and consolidation skills

Key Responsibilities including partnering with US Sales & Finance Management to drive overall company objectives, including and not limited to:
- Complex deal Structuring & Financial Modeling - Support and provide Senior Sales Directors with promotional deal design by modeling the impact of new consumer offers on Apple's financials and unit targets
- Support Carrier Product Demand Generation across all LOBs including iPhone, iPad, Watch, Beats, and more to evaluate opportunities for compelling consumer offers
- Deliver superior return on investments (Front Margin, Back Margin, Channel Programs, MDF, Deal Desk, OPEX, etc.)
- Partner with Sales leaders to develop and deploy the Terms and Conditions that will drive reseller behavior and maximize profitable sell through performance
- Partner with WW iPhone finance team to participate in the elaboration of sales programs and standardization efforts and share standard methodologies with other regions across the world
- Support new product launches including the best deployment strategies and operational needs of Carrier as well as evaluating opportunities to move through any remaining end-of-life inventory
- Participate in the review of Sell through unit forecasts and channel inventory management to monitor performance and share any relevant factors impacting it
- Ensure that channel partners are compliant with relevant terms and conditions
- Preparing Quarterly Business Review reports for WW Sales Finance and ad hoc reporting/analysis requests
- Work directly with Sales and Business Development on idea creation and implementation on sales programs that impact both our Carrier partners as well as our end consumers

Education & Experience

Finance Degree, MBA, or relevant advanced Degree highly preferred
