Job Description

The Intel XPU Architecture team is looking for a passionate and driven individual to help define and build the next generation of highly efficient XPU architectures for Intel. This individual will be a member of the GPU Hardware Microarchitecture team that works along with GPU architecture and software compiler engineers to build new XPU products. This position will be responsible to develop the technology and team for Hardware Microarchitecture/RTL design for the new CPU core.   

Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:  Spec/HW Microarchitectural specification creation and RTL development thru to tape-out, including quality in all aspects (performance, power, area, timing, and functional convergence.

Great opportunity to work with Industry leading Integrated and Discrete GFX products.  As well as, working on cutting edge PnP features from concept all the way to Si productization.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience. 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, with 3+ years experience, or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 1+ years experience.
  • Expertise in GPU architecture, microarchitecture.
  • Proficient in UVM, System Verilog and debugging.
  • Understanding of overall system level architecture and bus interface protocols.
  • Ability to solve architectural/timing issues with right tradeoffs between power, performance, and area.

Preferred qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Strong Low Power RTL Design and Validation skills.
  • Experience with Clock/Reset design and validation methodologies.
  • Experience with UVM, SystemVerilog, Verdi, Code Coverage tools.
  • Familiar with SoC/GPU flows such as Reset, C state, P state.
  • Expertise in UVM based validation methodologies and Debug.
  • Proven experience delivering high quality IP (RTL, Design, Validation).

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$113,500.00-$170,120.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
