This is an
exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a newly
formed program management office within the Software Architecture
and Technology Group. We are seeking highly skilled and motivated
program managers to lead cross-organizational product and system
software programs that deliver value in optimizing key customer
workloads across the full system stack from pre-silicon simulation
and firmware up to orchestration and application frameworks while
also maximizing the software experience for developers and end
users.
What you will be doing:
You will
be responsible for leading a highly matrixed, cross organization
team that are directly tied to delivering against a unified
developer experience vision across Intel. You will manages projects
or programs where consistent decisions are made that have a global
or long-lasting impact on the business, reputation, posture or
image of the organization through all areas of developer
engagement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited
to:
Manage engineering, social media, and marketing activities for the Developer First Program
Understand the developer journey, work with marketing to identify developer personas
Have the mindset of a developer and the understanding of how to reach people
Manage interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.
Decision making authority at the program level.
Set direction for programs by determining and balancing the technical need vs business impact with a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape and guard rails of the business 'Think like a GM' mentality.
Key interface with stakeholders and leadership across business groups. Exercises judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches.
Oversee identification of tasks and research, dependencies, costs; communicates expectations to core team members.
Create, track, and adjust the program schedule. Assesses risks and identifies solutions to timely, efficient achievement of program goals.
Ensure that quality standards and budget constraints are met.
Ensure appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate.
Prioritize utilization of resources with other functions.
Influence business unit or cross organizational strategies relevant to program goals.
Has an advanced understanding of the technical, ecosystem and development concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the DevFirst program, and utilizes knowledge to accelerate project completion.
Be fearless in tackling complicated problems, talking to senior stakeholders, and driving transformation.
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates
Minimum Qualifications:
You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline with
9+ years of experience; OR a Masters degree in Computer
Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline with
6+ years of experience; OR a PhD in Computer Science,
Computer Engineering or related technical discipline with
4+ years experience in the
following:
Knowledge with SDLC
This

Preferred
Qualifications:
History of working in Developer facing functions, a developer yourself, and deep network of developers internally and externally.
Marketing/evangelism experience
Reputation as a One-Intel minded person with a broad, strong, trusting network across the company.
MBA or master's degree is preferred

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
