Work and contribute toward the engineering of Apple's state-of-the-art products involving video, audio, and graphics in the Interactive Media Group. IMG is one of Apple's Software Engineering division and provides the media and graphics foundation across all of Apple's innovative products including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, HomePod, Mac, and CarPlay.

In this position, you will work across the full stack for a number of internal web services. From system administration, to DB administration, to backend development and front-end UI/UX.

Key Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a full stack developer
• Admin experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL ideally)
• Excellent development knowledge of languages like Python or JavaScript
• Excellent knowledge of frameworks like React / Redux / TypeScript, Node.js
• Excellent knowledge of REST API design and development
• Keen eye for excellent design and fluid user-experience

In this role you will design, maintain and extend new / existing tools. The ideal candidate will be innovative, organized, a self-starter with excellent communication skills, and have a keen attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with development and QE teams at Apple to design and implement software solutions to improve process workflows
- Prototype new tools and demonstrate their value to the organization
- Design architecture keeping in mind security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability
- Design and develop RESTful services and APIs
- Develop databases and applications to support existing hosting solutions within Apple
- Deliver solutions that can keep up with rapidly evolving requirements in a timely fashion
- Collaborate, mentor, and influence members within your team and across other teams at Apple

Education & Experience

BS / MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work accordingly
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker is a plus
