The Analytics and Telemetry Solutions team in Intel's Client Computing Group seeks a software engineer capable of designing, building, delivering, and operating SW solutions that drive compelling telemetry based collection for consumption by a cloud service backend. The successful candidate will plan, design, develop, test, and modify software systems with enhancements and new products that are specifically focused on platform data collection (telemetry) for cross OS Client and Server platforms. They will use current programming languages and technologies to develop, test and debug system applications. They will also be responsible for documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. You will develop libraries that expose silicon features' value through software APIs the can be consumed by ISVs and OEMs to find insights by which we can improve the user experience, performance and security via backend (cloud) processing and services.

Qualifications

You must possess the Education and minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences , Software Engineering or related field with 3+ years of industry expedience, OR
Masters Degree in Computer Sciences , Software Engineering or related field with 2+ years of industry experience

2+ years of experience in the following with one or more of the following

• Software Development
• Experience with any of the following: Windows and Linux, or C/C++
• Experience developing low level APIs (libs and DLLs) in C/C++
• Experience interfacing with driver interfaces from User Mode
• Experience developing, deploying, and supporting complex software solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of experience with one or more of the following:

• Experience developing drivers or with embedded programming
• Experience with Python and JavaScript
• Experiencing developing Web Sockets and REST API.
• Experience with CI/CD infrastructure scripting solutions for automated deployments (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Test automation (Unit Testing, System, and Integration Testing)
• Agile Methodologies, defining and writing user stories, collaborating with scrum teams.
• Software development security practices
