The Next Generation and Systems (NGS) group within Intel's Corporate Strategy Office is seeking a Senior System and Software Integration Engineer responsible for the integration of advanced technology components. The successful candidate will work with a small, innovative, multi-disciplinary team working on key innovation programs for the next generation of technologies, converging on Networking, AI, Edge Computing, Wi-Fi and 5G+ wireless, compute, data and communications, and associated vertical markets.

As a Sr. System and Software Integration Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Multidisciplinary research and collaborate with AI/ML research engineers, network simulation engineers, SW and solution architects engineers in the design, development, and integration of advanced network simulation, prediction and control and management software.

• Software and system level integration of advanced technology components including AI/Machine Learning algorithms, network simulation models, network interfaces and Linux middleware and applications, and ensure functionality and performance of overall software stack and software system solution.

• Create software solutions and implementations while contributing to software designs, algorithms, and interface specifications.

• Analysis of system and software requirements.

• Development of testable software components.

• Integrating software components under a Devops and MLOPs development framework

• Database management.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a Software Engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience or Master degree in a Software Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience.
  Experience should be in the following:

  • Software integration of AI, machine learning components.

  • CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Delivery).

  • Wireless and/or wired networking APIs.

  • Scripting language (Python or C++).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced with Devops and MLOps systems.

• Kubernetes, Docker, Kubeflow.

• Familiarity with AI/ML, wired/wireless networking, autonomous robots, vehicles.

• In-depth knowledge in one of the fore mentioned domains.

• Linux environment experience.
